Visa
A valid passport with Entry Visa is required to all visitors. A Tourist Visa allows a stay of 28 days. A Business Visa allows a stay of ten weeks, extendible up to 12 months on a case-by-case basis.

Customs
Foreign currency above US$ 2000, jewelleries, electrical goods and cameras must be declared at the airport, Export of antiques and archaeologically valuable items are prohibited.

Export of antiques
Export of antiques and archaeologically valuable items are prohibited. Visitors are advised to buy only the allowed items of handicrafts and art objects from the registered souvenir shops. Insist on to obtain the certified receipt from the shops. Visitors are requested to show the receipt upon request by the responsible official concerned. Any illegal trade of prohibited items will result in heavy penalty.

Duty Free Allowance
Two bottles of liquor; two cartons of cigarettes; 1.5 lb of tobacco; 100 cigars; one pint bottle of perfume or eau de cologne.

Airport Tax
The airport tax is US$10 for international passengers, payable in FEC(Foreign Exchange Certificates). There is no airport tax on domestic flights.

Health
No vaccination certificate is required unless coming from an infected area.

Foreign Exchange
Visitors who bring more than US$ 2000 must declare the amount of foreign currency to the customs.

Foreign Exchange Certificate (FEC), issued for the convenience of visitors, is accepted by hotels, airlines, travel agencies, taxis, restaurants, and convenient for entrance fees to pagodas, museums, parks, etc. FECs are issued in US$ 20, $ 10, $ 5 and$ 1 denominations.
